After Tuesday it feels like one step forward two steps back.
Great chance to make a big stride towards safety but didn't look like getting anything.
    Coventry deserved winners.
Only a couple of days rest and another big game.
Can we get back up for Sunday? It's a long way back from this performance.
    Feeling sick tonight

Cov deserved the win. Fair play for not going into the tedious time wasting tactics.
Still a long way to go, but that really was a big loss. Tuesday's game really caught up with us tonight.

No momentum what so ever from Tuesday was brought to the party tonight.Awful....NO shots on target. We may collect a couple more 'QPR' type victories before the end of the season but it won't be enough. We had a 'free hit' this season in the Championship because without COVID we wouldn't have been here so we will return to League 1 and in so many ways....its where we belong but we have had so many attempts at this league over 7 years it really is getting boring.Steve Evans didn't do too bad with 3 consecutive seasons did he?

Inconsistent. That is definately what we are. Can't blame tiredness, it's been the same most of the season. Play well one game, play sh1t the next.

Coventry are just better than us. Simple as that. Their players have better footballing brains.

We give away daft free kicks all the time, not just today. It's almost as if we give the opposition half a yard, or get on the wrong side and then foul them when we are trying to catch up.

We commit to challenges or expect an opposition player to go a certain way and leave ourselves exposed when they go the other way. Happens every single game on numerous occasions.

Ihiekwe needs to learn to pass. Even when he clears it he kicks it high in the air barely reaching half way.

Other than that, yeah, we could still stay up.

Just no spark tonight I'm afraid Coventry did a job on us tonight gave up possession to us kept tight and attacked us at every opportunity and did very well at falling down and gaining free kicks . We never win when we have the most possession well done Coventry . Let's move on and beat Birmingham on Sunday

Was Coventry that good or was we that ****

    Didsapointing atleast.

Tony stewart needs to back us in this league otherwise whats the point.

Still in our own hands but you just worry we're the next win is gonna come from.

He didn't have 3 consecutive seasons in the Championship, he had one full season and then left just over a month into the second.

That’s an interesting point of view

Many think that if we are relegated we will do well in league 1

I’m not so sure we would and might struggle to finish in the top 10.

Yes we sometimes have some great performances but overall we are very one dimensional.

More like stating the obvious. Felt more dissapointed after H'field given how we played and the chances created with a team full of energy. Tonight we were just knackered. Not saying we would of won with a week build up but fatigue absolutely did us from the first whistle to the last. One day between, come on.

I know we have tall forwards but why play it to them in the air when the opposition defence are mopping everything up? Smith and Ladapo are both decent with the ball on the ground and for a short while after Freddie came on we seemed to have them a bit on the back foot. MR seems to have built his forward line in the mould of himself, small and mobile and even then we conceded a headed goal from a free kick to the very same player we did the same against at their place. Frusbloodytrating is one word to describe it.
