I agree about playing our strongest team but I'm sure Mehmet will play. There seems to be some agreement there that he gets game time in the cups. I actually think he's a decent keeper, not as good as Benji though who has been immense this season.

Happy with whichever team. Just dont think Appere has done enough to merit being considered in our "strongest" team. Goals ratio is pretty poor, has energy but is not particularly good at holding the ball up or bringing others into the game and is not particularly good in the air for his size. Remains a work in progress for me and will hopefully still develop with time. Would have sent him on loan personally.
Guess on the flip side a game against bottom of league 1 is perhaps an opportunity to test Appere's credentials
Our best strikers are Clark and Shankland, would like to see them play as a pair if not tonight then during our run in. Would be good for Shankland's confidence to grab a few goals over the next few weeks and try to push towards the Scotland squad. Spaces available for sure.
Regardless what team stars, we should have enough and I am looking forward to a Friday night game on plastic for once.

8 of the 11 in lsarab line up pretty much picks itself. I dont think anyone in the creative midfield area has done enough this season. That is where our biggest problem lies and where we need to strengthen the most.
