    God this is frightening, heard this on Radio 2 (Steve Wright not twohat Vine) this afternoon and said to my dearest that I liked this song and she agreed it was a classic.

    Released in 1976 and was described by some magazine or other as "one of those 'mysterious woman' songs" whatever that means. Great song though, i liked a lot of the 70s bands many great pop tunes around back then. 10CC played some great stuff in the 70s, Sweet, Slade, Wizzard, kids don't know what they're missing today, some right sh1te stuff around these days

    The album version of Year Of The Cat is a lot longer than the single, if I remember correctly. There is a longer instrumental passage. Great track. Always thought the tw*t out of Pet Shop Boys sounded like Al Stewart's voice.
