And forgive me for pointing out, but I'm as pleased as you are for the U23s and as positive about the achievement as anyone, just a little more discerning as to where the credit lies.

All you had to do was leave out the reference to Orta, but you can't help yourself.

    Celebrate success, yes

Give credit where it's due, yes

Congratulate the players and the coaching staff who richly deserve the plaudits that come with their winning of the league championship with games to spare, hell yes.

Give Orta the credit for recruitment to the Academy or the 1st team squad, when before Bielsas arrival his record was in the order of a 1 in 25 hit rate? The hell no.

Talking about the free kick, Greenwood moves the ball about 6 inches while Wall is being set up. That's enough for him to curl the ball around the wall. Very clever or cheating slightly? Referee will surely spot that in Premier league. Still an excellent strike though.

Can't those taking the kick place.the ball (within reason), where they like?

Yes they can but not when the wall is being set. Once that starts, you cannot move the ball. Otherwise, everyone will just move the ball where the wall isnt and shoot.

Understood, didn't see the kick so wasn't aware if the sequence. Thanks for the clarification.
