At first I was against it but as has been said it would lead to a more competitive Premiership and we could be a main player. The spending should have been capped years ago like in the NFL, champions like Leicester are the rare exception, money will in the main win the Prem title.

It's all going tits up now, with clubs backing out and big sackings. I hope these clubs are massively dealt with by the powers that be and given massive points deductions now.. Well done Boris for piling the pressure on them.

At least four clubs backtracking, Ed Woodward resigns, it's all falling apart.

Crikey! That furore was short lived. Who says clubs don't listen to their fans?

Just listen today to the cringeworthy apologies from the protagonists.Trying to creep back into the good books with the supporters. It is a smokescreen-they have been trying to get this ESL or similar for years-they are simply desperate to avoid any further punishment which will hurt the market values.
They should now be punished in such a manner that they never try again.Points deductions and fines.Hit them while they are down and relatively weak. They would do exactly the same in a business situation.Dog eat dog.Greed is good.
The supporters of these clubs should disown them until they are brought into line.
