To be fair to the greedy tw@ts trying this on, you can see why they thought they could get away with it, the fans have been shat on by the PL and Sky TV for years now and they've got away with that. Cup semi-finals on Saturday tea-time at Wembley, 3pm kick-offs as rare as rocking horse ****e, the fans have moaned but sucked it all up, World Cup Finals in 50 degrees in Qatar, proved to have been awarded through bribery and corruption, but going ahead anyway.

There's an awful lot of hypocrisy on view now, we care about the fans say the other 14 PL clubs, no they don't, they just don't want to lose the revenue the big six bring in.

How will all this wash with the latest idea of a British Super League including Rangers and Celtic?

It appears that the same clubs are the driving force behind this move, in particular Man United and Liverpool.
It is a straight forward equation, if they don't like the Premier League they should resign and go and play somewhere else, however, they seem intent on changing the face of football in England in order to satisfy their greed! It's a load of b*****ks!

It's a bit strange really because Cardiff,Swansea & Newport are in the league so why not Rangers & Celtic. The Scottish FA may have strong views about it and,of course,if they get Independence what then?

They should be punished heavily now whilst they are under the cosh.Fines and point deductions. In fact they should be fined so heavily that they will never think of anything like it again. It would also do wonders for creating a more level playing field within the PL.

I would imagine they can only be fined and have points deducted if they have transgressed PL rules, they indicated their intention to leave but they didn't actually leave, so what rules have they broken that could lead to fines and points deductions ? Bear in mind they all employ very expensive legal teams, everything that's chucked at them will have to stand up in court, they can't be punished on a whim, just because they're greedy tw@ts, nice though that would be.

sinkov, you are correct and it is obvious that they have been well advised before embarking on their attempt to break away from the
PL and form their Super League.
Nothing will happen, life will go on, European Champions League will accommodate the team next season and all will be forgotten until they work out another way to break away.
