    If this is true, then that's great news. Even some of the managers, who would probably earn more money themselves if the league is started, thinks it's outrageous. Good!

    I see the Chronicle is starting to stir up a great romance between José and NUFC in the media. Don't think for one second he would come here under Mr. Ashley, José needs money to spend (which is fair enough, but it's not Ashley's cuppa).

    I'm surprised he's gone, even with all the poorer results - the timing feels very off.

    I know it has been rubbished by now but I do wonder if he's said something against the Super League.

    I wonder if they did it before the final just in case he managed to win it, thereby strengthening his hand or invoking some sort of clause or huge bonus payment? If they were going to get rid at the end of the season anyway then doing it now would avoid the extra payout. Plus, even though it's still big news, it's small fry compared to the super league issue so maybe they felt it was a 'good day to bury bad news'?
