    New Goalie

Slocombe is injured so we've signed Luke Steele on a short term deal

Sounds like the opening line of a rap song. Welcome Luke!!!

Has a decent enough pedigree but now 36 and plays for Northern League Prem, Div One club, Stamford

Are you sure we’ve signed him as a goalie?

According to Wiki: "On 12th December 2020 Steele featured for Peterborough Northern Star Reserves in a Peterborough District Division 1 league match and scored a hat trick whilst playing as a striker.”

Waste of time, what was wrong with Doyle? Unless Burchinall intends to play Steele as a striker.

Said he nearly signed for Peterborough but was stopped by EFL rules. Now at Stamford 3 steps below the National League who have only played 1 game this year.

    Too short for a goalkeeper.

Although Doyle seemed to get away with it.

I'd imagine he is cover for Pilling since he can't have had any game time or serious training since leaving Millwall
