I want to reiterate my point on the other thread.

So ... the idea of the 'Big 6' (F**king joke BTW - Arsenal & Spurs 'Big' really? Spurs? Since when?) were going to push through 'Project Big Picture' - take control over the Premier League, dictate takeovers, essentially form a monopoly & then leave the Prem, devalue it, play their kids in the diminished league & join the proposed Super League?

To Summarize - Destroy the domestic game across the entire continent of Europe, turning the clubs who survive in to defecto feeder clubs whilst they play in a non-competitive league structure which safeguards against failure.

Basically, change the worlds favourite sport, pi$$ on 140 odd years of heritage & history into the closest thing to the sport slavery model of the NCAA / Pro leagues.

I get it from Henry, the Glazers & Kronke, they have no interest in the sport they are bought the clubs for the profit not the game. Abramavich & Mansour, don't need the money but didn't want to be left behind.

The one that is truly disgusting is Daniel Levy. Spurs are a nothing club. Sold Bale, brought in a couple of decent managers and had a bit of an up turn in fortune from a mid table cloggers to European Pretenders.

I don't hate people, it's just not in my nature to waste my time or energy.

However Levy I dislike with the same intensity I do for Blatter, Masters & Woodward.

Let's hope that our patience is rewarded, arbitration goes our way, our clubs changes hands and Staveley runs our club with character, dignity and charm.

We deserve to be returned to our place challenging the top end of the table, with pride, optimism & essentially restore the love we have all had kicked out of us over the past 14 yrs.

Stay safe out there you crazy kids

    Cheers Jammy,

Just think about the brass neck on these clowns.

Turn the Prem, Bundesliga, Seria A & La Liga etc into 'The minors' and turn the 'Super League' into a global exhibition sport where clubs play their matches in Toyko, Sydney, Shanghai, Buenos Aires & New York etc.

They dream of making this a reality with their plastic sports, however mostly the world doesn't care for their over-hyped underwhelming sports.

Adult Rounders - Baseball - Japan & S.Korea have leagues.
Some parts of Latin America play it but the rest of us have better things to do with 4-6 hours of our day

Men's Netball - Basketball - end to end, a game where defense is a myth.

Padded Rugby - A-Football - only 1 person uses his feet.
Basically a game designed to train the underclass and minorities to become soldiers in high school and promote regimented military ideals.

Take home message for all these 'retail opportunities' where obese dumb humans guzzle lbs and lbs of fructose corn syrup ladened and processed processed junk food whilst it just so happens some a mildly competitive sporting endeavour is occurring in front of them.

    The teams are a cartel.
The cities they play in are held to ransom for fear of losing the 'Franchise' to another city.
Stadiums are practically theme parks where people can shop, swim, party - anything other than watch the sport. Basically these places are like casinos where the acts/sport are a bi-product of extracting money from the punter.

The only sport that the US of A have actually championed, grown and are now in the process of destroying is MMA.

The UFC - I was a fan from the early days.
I was hooked to the classic MMA events - Pride/K1
Wanderlei Silva is one of my favourite fighters of all time, I met the guy once. The nicest scariest guy I've ever met.
Loved the Dutch Kickboxing royalty Badr Hari, Sammy Schiltz, Ernesto Hoost etc.

However since the Fertitta brothers sold out & the Reebok deal came in the sport has changed. I applaud the way MMA has become such a big deal however it lost it's mystique.

I guess I loved it when it was kind underground and not so main stream, the fights where brutal, less tactical and dude went for it. Nowadays, everyone is multi skilled and talented, to the fights are less exciting and more predictable.

Moreover the rapid expansion has basically saturated the market. Too much of something dilutes it. It's not special anymore.

    What was my point...???

    Do I have one...???

Yeah I guess I'm just saying that everything in the USA is based around making money. It's not about culture or sporting competition. It's about how we can maximize the dollar spend at every step.

Glad the Super League has been flushed for now however I'm sure that it will be back in with vengeance in the not so distant future.

It's time to make real changes to the laws of the land & rules of football governance to make sure that the last shreds of integrity are maintained.

On the latest Athletic 'Pod on the Tyne' podcast George Culken suggested that the clubs should be part of National Heritage, like a sporting National Trust. The clubs, grounds etc should be 'listed' based on their historical, cultural and societal significance.

I personally think that this is a great shout.

Ramadan Kareem all, day 11 of the fast for me (I do it for health reasons, not cultural or religions), watching the match without a pint is always sh!te! It's just easier to go with the flow when living in the gulf.

Thanks for reading my brain dump. WTL - time for a dump before the match

Too true - the American businessmen in sport are 100% commercial driven and have no interest in the tradition or integrity of the sport (let’s face it, history and tradition are two of the few things that the USA cannot buy).

Unfortunately this Super League will come and they’ve just made the mistake of going too early. The slide towards this started years ago and one of the pioneers is our very own Mike Ashley. Although he isn’t very good at it, he runs our club to maximize profit and couldn’t care less about winning, never mind tradition, pride and sporting integrity.

The government needs to step in. This is akin to ripping down Windsor Castle to build a shopping centre in its place. Makes great financial sense but look what you lose. One of the reasons governments exist is to protect social and environmental concerns against economic development. Football clubs are socially, hugely important in many cities, especially Newcastle, so why aren’t they acting against owners like Ashley and these other c*nts?

Aye but mind, this government is the one who green lit wide spread Fracking & have approved the reopening of a bassa coal mine in the Lake district National Park.

From a party called the 'Conservatives', they ain't known for 'Conserving' much.

Don’t know much about those and each case has to be looked at individually, but when it comes to football clubs it’s a no brainer.

    Doesn't need much thinking.

Fracking destroys water courses and poisons the environment (I'm no bleeding heart tree hugging leftie at all) & F**king Coal Mining???

    Really?

what is it 1821 or 2021? LOL

anyway we nicked a point so we are absolutely safe not 9 points clear of Fulham with 5 games to play.

It's not mathematically safe yet but Fulham have to play League Winning form from here til the end of the season, which they ain't gonna do.

Eating meat is far more harmful to the environment than fracking to both air and water. Enforced vegetarianism, anybody?

Aye, very good point today at Anfield.

The other 14 are seeking to remove Slick and the rest of the crooks running the EPL.

Which is great news for the take over.
