I don’t really mind that it’s a league but really it should be knockout.

I wish it would go back to the old European Cup, Cup Winners Cup & UEFA Cup but these days it is all about maximising money for the "big" clubs. It stinks.

Totally agree, but strange we don't hear the club's who complained about the super League lacking in sporting integrity of not recognising achievements when it comes to this .

The so called Champions league was set up just to avoid such a break away league.

The biggest problem of course is that the whole set up f’ucks the fans over.

Changed days but not for the better.

I know it’s just an auld mannie whittering away but cup football was meant to be different, that’s why it’s good to see St Johnstone winning today.

The Inter-Cities Fairs Cup was a daft concept, its basis being that entrants were from places that held trade fairs. Clyde finished third in Div 1 in 1967, behind the green lot and the dead club, but weren’t given a Fairs Cup place since only one club from each qualifying conurbation was invited, and that was the club in second place. Utter ****ery.

The UEFA Cup at least recognised merit in allowing clubs to participate.

I have no idea what Scotland, England, Czech Republic and Croatia are playing for next month, nor do I have a ****ing clue about Euro fitba at club level next season. It used to be very simple.

Rather more worrying is the fact that I don’t give a ****.

The UEFA cup was a far better competition than the EUFA cup ever was.

So we enter the Europa Conference League at the 2nd Qualifying Round stage where we will be seeded.

If we win that is currently touch and go as to if we will be seeded for the 3rd Qualifying Round or not, that should become clearer in the coming days.

The draw for the 2nd Qualifying Round takes place on June 16th with ties to be played July 22nd & 29th.

3rd Qualifying Round draw is July 19th.

Confirmed now that we won't be seeded for QR3.
