That's right - F'uck UEFA

But it's even worse than that. Eleven teams (so more than a third of the teams that make the Group stages) first of all got knocked out of the Champions League before then getting knocked out of the Europa League so not one but two doggy lifes - F'uck UEFA

Everything designed to make it as difficult as possible for teams like Aberdeen to make the Group stages

If the Euro comps canna adapt to reflect the participant teams achievements in their respective leagues, and agree 'if yer oot, yer oot' ... we might as well change oor domestic set up ....

We dae the League cup as it's done noo .... but ... we stop at the quarter final stage ... but wi six teams - nae eight.

We dae the Scottish Cup as normal ... but we stop at the quarter final stage ... but wi six teams ... nae eight.

We use the time saved in playin these rounds by finishin the league early.

The teams finishing 2nd and 3rd in the League .... if nae still in the Scottish cup, are entered as the 7th and 8th quarter finalists ... and are seeded. .... should either/both still be in the comp, they should still be seeded, and the 'vacant' 7th and/or 8th places taken by 4th/5th in the league.

The Scottish cup quarter finals get played, the winners go to the semi final. The 4 losers are drawn to play 2 play off matches (seeded according to final league position) ... the 2 winners .... if nae already in the League Cup joining the properly qualified 6 in the League Cup quarters.... otherwise, best play off 'loser(s)' take their place ..... but! ... if these are also still in the League cup, then the play offs will not happen ... and best Scottish Cup Q-final loser(s) will make up the eight
