    Europe 21/22

One of these teams will be playing European Group Football Next Season and I'm f*cking raging (still) that it won't be us...

    Hibs
    Dundee Utd
    St. Johnstone
    Kilmarnock/St. Mirren

    But it will be us.

We just need to play a few warm up games first.

No bad thing, given that our new team will need time to gel.

There is that whole being third gets into the group stage thing. So if Hivs win the Cup does that mean fourth gets in too?

No its the cup winners that get the Europa League place (and so is guaranteed Group football). It only goes to third in the league if the cup is won by a team that finishes in the top two of the league, which won't now happen this season. So if Hibs win the cup then the Conference places go to fourth and fifth. If one of the other four left win the cup then third and fourth get the Conference places.

So as it now turns out, it no longer matters if we finish third (not that that is happening anyway) as we will end up in the Conference anyway - we could only have guaranteed Group football if we had won the cup

Well, given the state we are in, i'd say that is great news?

We get to play superdiddy teams with euro away days, as warm ups for our brand new superattack team?

(rather than getting gubbed out in first round by some unkown and unpronounceable Albanian team secretely financed by a dodgy Italian billionaire?

We can have no complaints, we don’t deserve European football this season let alone group stages .

We have been abysmal most of the season and it’s only a decent start to the season that has kept us in the hunt for this conference p’ish .
