As the commentators said a soft penalty but he knows you can't touch the dancers legs, sorry players - their second goal though was a good un though.

Give the kids a chance now, MUST have an under 23 left back to have a chance before we spend a lot on a replacement?

Very dissapointed by that, but now we need to giove some youngsters a chance before we go into the transfer market
Don't think he needs defending when playing (as he nearly always does), in a position he is neither best at (previous coaches knew that and played to his strengths), nor most suited to (the two might co-incide, no matter what the player wants, that's not the case with Alioski)..what IS needed is a suitable explanation as to why we leave that position as an "also ran", when it is so key to our defence.

Agree with you 100% on giving young players an opportunity, but the kind of sh1te I've seen on social media about Alioski needs to be directed where it's due, and not at the player.

Still gets more sh1te directed at him than others, despite being played out of position, and next to no criticism directed at those who CAN fix it by getting a White replacement AND giving those from the U23 an opportunity, neither of which is down to Alioski.

He's by no means perfect and I hold no brief for him (and if he goes to THAT club he will diminish in this supporters estimation if no other), just think natural fairness should be applied, and if it is, and his overall contribution to LUFC is weighed on that basis, not many players will better it.

Things I already knew but were confirmed by today's game:

    1. Alioski is a clown and we need a 'proper' left back.
    2. Roberts remains a donkey with the first touch of a refridgerator. He is also lazy.
    3. Bamford needs some help up front from time to time.
    4. Harrison is still disappointingly inconsistent.
    5. Rodrigo doesn't look like a £26M player.
    6. Poveda is light years better than Costa but needs to come up with some kind of end product.
    7. Our attacking threat looks very blunt without Raphinha.

Things I didn't know, but possibly do now:

    1. Koch is not really a suitable replacement for Phillips in the defensive midfield role.
    2. Time to say thank you and goodbye to Pablo.
    3. Klich is nothing like the player he was in the Championship at this level.
    4. No idea why we don't give a couple of the U23s a chance to shine.
    5. Don't be seduced by odds of 10-1 for us to win from being 1-0 down at half time.

    Overall, a very poor performance.

Alioski was pretty poor today and wasn’t in the right positions, used the ball poorly and seemed to not really be paying attention

The Ayling flop seems to be recognised by refs now too a few times he did it today and rightly no free kick.

Bad day at the office for the team but sure they will bounce back

Alioski is not, now, nor has he ever been, "a clown", if all the rest if those you name had contributed as much during the whole of their time at LUFC we would have been promote last season and been in Champions League contention this.

We have under-promised and over-delivered and been incredibly lucky (not before time!) in facing lack-lustre PL teams who have also under-estimated us, and the fitness levels we have shown have simply ground down better opposition. Next season we will have to do better on all fronts because we won't get chances like we have this.

With you on Rodrigo, have been since his first game against Liverpool. Poveda should be starting not subbing, Koch (same as Rodrigo which is a shame), and as for not giving any of the U23s an opportunity, have a word with god (aka Bielsa) because no other cnut will make a change without his say so.

He may not be a clown but he has days when he is a liability no matter how hard he tries - today he was dreadful and the penalty was stupid and unnecessary.

And Cooper, Ayling, Rodrigo, Meslier, Harrison, and God forbid we should criticise Philips haven't ALL been guilty of similar, but do they get called "clowns", "not worthy of the shirt", "should leave now" or anything similar? I think not.

And where the f00k is Pete1967 with his boiled pi55? Selective support as ever.

Not every player is stellar, not every player who is will put in a stellar performance every game (especially when NEVER played in the position they play best in), and EVERY player should be (and I imagine expects to be) criticised, but equally hat, every player should expect that such criticism be fairly spread and appropriately apportioned, none of which applies to this particular player, for reasons I simply don't understand.
