It's possible Chris, I was living there mid to late 70s, and I'd forgotten about the Joiners, probably spent more time in there than the BQ. Friday night at the Cricket Club was another good night and for a bit of peace and quiet we used to go to a pub up Tod Rd on the right, I have this idea it was called the Flowers, but I can't see it on Google maps now, so I could be wrong about that.Originally Posted by kritichris
