Wasn't Sporle back on the bench on Saturday?
Also anyone who has watched Sporle this season knows he is the worst person in the squad to give protection to Robson. His big attribute is running in off the left wing and spends most of the game on the right or in central areas because of that.

He was an unused sub, aye. Whilst he doesn't offer much protection, he does offer width and is naturally left sided which in itself gives Robson more protection than when we play a diamond or play with three in the middle.
Slightly off topic but I see St. Mirren have been denied a license to play in Europe should they win the cup.

They don't actually know and are seeking clarification as they gained the same level of results as St. Johnstone, who were granted a license.

To add to my earlier post though is that if they can win on Saturday, then the whole thing would open right up. That genuinely would then be a very winnable final regardless of who got through from the other semi.
