    Season tickets

No doubt we'll hear soon what the offering is for the new season tickets. I don't envy those who have had to make up the proposal. Fans will probably be back though the numbers allowed remain uncertain. There is an agreement to allow streaming to season ticket holders and an outstanding commitment for 19 home games. And a new manager who has an urgent need for a reshuffle.

    It's a difficult balancing act.

I think the “Well fans family” will continue to support the club by purchasing their season tickets as usual. There is no doubt that this time round purchase of a season ticket for some families might be a step to far in the current situation. But IMO I think we will still sell near or annual figure for them, wether the club can come up with an innovative way for others to be able to purchase them I don’t know but hope they can. As for our manager next season is when he will be judged by the fans as it will be his “players and tactics” that will come under scrutiny.

Burrows suggested on Twitter he hoped to have details out this week.

No doubt heart strings will be tugged asking people to forgo refunds if they are in a position to do so.

I suspect we'll be around the usual figure as well tbh.

On the subject of season tickets I was wondering if I could have the views of the people on here of an idea suggestion I would like to put to the football club or Well Society. As you all know the past 12-18months has been difficult for everyone with the COVID pandemic and everything that has gone with it such as job losses, loss of loved ones, no socialising or going to Fir Park. Due to these difficult times
I was wondering how many of our season ticket holders will have difficulty financially renewing for season 2021/2022. My suggestion is for people who can afford a season ticket to voluntarily pay a £5 to a maximum £10 levy.Which could be used to fund for a one off season only the renewal of season tickets of those who have lost their jobs or are suffering financially. The same voluntary levy could be used by the Well Society on a members monthly subscription who is not a season ticket holder already. If we had 3000 supporters between season tickets holders and Well Society members we have the potential to raise roughly between £15,00-£30,000 which would certainly help those in financial difficulties. It would also maybe help their mental health etc knowing they will be able to still go to the football with the other family members who are season ticket holders and be able to meet up with friends and fellow fans. Let me know your thoughts please, try and not to be harsh

The sentiment is nice but the club already guaranteed 19 games in FP for 20/21 season tickets, anyone who is in a rough patch will already get a free renewal for 21/22.

And they'll also have gotten a season's worth of free streaming.

Well aye, they're probably due some compensation for the dross inflicted on them this season like everyone else...

Financially, I've done well out of the pandemic, and there are millions like me, so I'll be paying for my ticket.

That's noble, it really is, and hats off to you. However, I imagine there's not many of those millions like you who are MFC fans. Clarity for them is needed IMO.

"Had quite a few ‘Well fans tweet / DM me asking when 21/22 season ticket information will be published. Keep an eye on the official website, our club’s social channels and the info dropping through your letter box next week. "
