Indeed. If Doyle has managerial or coaching aspirations of his own this would be a very sensible way to put a toe in the water and perhaps make the transition permanent from next season as an official player/assistant.
It also forms a great communication bridge between IB and the players.
This is excellent news as I was worried about the players and IB maybe falling out and him leaving but sounds encouraging.
The man has been associated with mainly failure since his arrival.
