Is the NUFC rollercoaster finally bottoming out of a very big trough?
Is this statement basically saying that the Premier League and the big 6 were against Newcastle being the richest club in the world?
“In reaching the director decision, the defendant failed to apply the rules in a fair, objective and non-discriminatory fashion and/or used its powers under the rules for the improper purpose of promoting its own commercial interests and/or the interests of its business associates and/or certain of the Premier League member clubs in a manner that was detrimental to competition and consumers.

The Pemier League are such a bunch of self-serving, unprincipled cunts that it wouldn't surprise me at all if they got away with this.
The irony being that in the original arbitration, the league wouldn’t agree to the chair QC stepping down despite his history working with them then they wouldn’t agree to it being played out in public. Now it seemingly will be very public. This is quite a good read:

yeah that's a worry like.
I see the usual anti Newcastle takeover guru's are throwing scorn on this move by Ashley.
Luke Edwards and that Ben Jacobs bloke saying this move shows Ashley isn't confident on winning the arbitration etc etc blah blah, always the negative angle.
The real facts are, that the anti competition move ensures the proceedings are done in line with UK law and complete transparency, as details are revealed they will be made public.
They have obviously got some massive bullets to fire at the PL, big 6, Qatar, BEIN sports etc otherwise he wouldn't waste his time. The case will start almost immediately and from what the guys who started the ball rolling are saying (including Liam Kennedy) it's a cast iron case, Kennedy sat on the story for 2 weeks because he knew how explosive its going to be and needed to wait until the 2 week response deadline from the PL expired.
Once the details come out, the PL will have no option other than to abandon the arbitration, one of them even went as far as to say the takeover will be completed before July 12th and completely believe there are too many silver bullets for Masters and Hoffman to escape from.
There are going to be some enormous red faces at the F.A. and hopefully some embarrassing resignations.
according to Keith who started the anti competition case, the coming weeks are going to be very informative.
Even Boris Johnson has commented on record regarding the takeover.
"WHEN THE EVIDENCE APPEARS bums will twitch! Imagine the scene - where our PM claims a “cartel” operates & where their behaviour blocks a legitimate takeover to prevent market entry & competition. All will be proven in the coming weeksZebra#NUFC #NUFCTakeover"
game set and match if this is true like
Luke Edwards and that Ben Jacobs bloke saying this move shows Ashley isn't confident on winning the arbitration etc etc blah blah, always the negative angle.
The arbitration probably wouldn’t have been won due to deck being stacked in the league’s favour by the impartiality of the chair being questionable to say the least - the competition law route appears to be a torpedo aimed at the whole sorry saga including the apparent lack of credibility in the arbitration proceedings.
