Frank, Italy is desperately asking the EU for 161 billion Euros.

So, the EU has no choice but to bail out the neo-bankrupt Italy and to continuously bail out the bankrupt Greece. The EU unelected leadership will no doubt oblige. But they do not do it by magic. These incredible amounts of money have to come from somewhere. There are numerous other EU member countries that are basket cases, especially those that are in the Euro currency zone.

The UK is well out of all this utter nonsense, well clear of any obligations to throw away enormous sums of money on lost causes such as all the EU basket cases. It actually has an economy that is gradually growing and it has free trade deals with everywhere that matters now and everywhere that is set to matter in the future, so well done Liz Truss.

Frank hasn’t posted anywhere for a fortnight, Dick. Should we be worried or relieved?
