Season Ticket Sales For 20/21 Season Capped at 11,000.

    Should read 21/22 Season.

As we approach 10,000 season ticket sales for the 2021/22 season, we would like to thank you for your continued support. Oakwell has not been the same without you and we are all looking forward to the day that supporters return to their seats.

With questions regarding capacities and attendances remaining ahead of the new season, the Club have made the decision to put a limit on seasonal sales until further clarification is granted.

Regardless of divisional status, there is always a desire to sell-out Oakwell. Yet, with such uncertainty still, it is deemed essential to provide members with value for money. The primary method for securing this, is to fulfil our commitment by doing all that we can to ensure that 21/22 members watch as many of their entitled league fixtures, in their selected seat, as possible. To assist with this standpoint, 21/22 seasonal memberships will be capped at 11,000 sales.

Once the 11,000 figure is hit, a waiting list will be created allowing further supporters to register interest. Once we have assurances from the relevant agencies that we can accommodate in excess of 11,000 supporters, the sales process will resume. If this step is implemented, further information will be shared.

All at Barnsley FC would like to thank our members, new and old, for their incredible support during these times.

    TRANSLATED.
“We will allow 11000 locals to get tickets, and after that, the FLOATERS from Denby Dale, Wakefield, Hemsworth, Crofton and the edge of SHEFFIELD and perhaps Horbury will be able to pay £800 for a ticket to sit at Oakwell and watch the Premier league big boys play at our ground, whilst we MILK it. “
Young kids from the schools round Barnsley, will be priced out of tickets, therefore depriving the club of “future fans for life”

“Our Club, our Town....... Unless we can Milk the surrounding areas BIG STYLE”.
    “YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST.......”

Any other club touting 11,000 season tickets only? Any other club in the country been advised on next season already?
