Milne's tenure as heid honcho was an unmitigated disaster, anyone who thinks otherwise is on a different planet.
The 11-1 vote is a millstone round Scottish fitba's neck, the pr1ck could've got rid but chose not too ("strong r*****s" anyone?).
There's so many disastrous things have happened on his watch....... way too many to list.
I can't believe the cu nt is still hanging round like a fart in a wet suit.

For me, the jury is still out on Stand Free Dave.
He's talking a good game, but let's see the substance to match the style going forrit.

Cormack offering Pittodrie to used to host cup final so fans can get in.
The guy deserves credit for continuing to lobby to get fans into stadiums again .

    Plus AFC would make money

Would Milne be doing this ???

Milne would tell everyone our Stadium is not fit for a cup final and is in urgent need to be knocked down so we can move to Kingsford. He wouldn’t even attempt to think about putting our stadium forward for holding a cup final.

Nah, Milne would be saying “Ibrox is the perfect venue. Scottish football needs a strong Rangers, blah, blah, blah.....”

Milne on his own couldn't change that, he'd have needed the backing of some other chairman. Would he have got it given they all caved in to it in the first place?

Further if he had achieved the necessary backing then it would have cost our club a fair amount of money. First thing they would change is the home club keeping the gate receipts back to a share of each games receipts. Although well out of date now, back when we had significantly better crowds I calculated we would lose significantly, given so few fans of other clubs came here to see their team cuffed. Albeit it's changed with lower crowds and less cuffings, that's where we are aiming to be again but we'd have reduced revenue.

Firstly - you’re completely wrong on the voting situation.

To change 11-1 required 11 votes. 10 clubs voted for change, only 2 against, tims & Milne.

It was 100% in his gift to change things, he had the casting vote. To our eternal shame, that wee shytebag sided with the Tims. Disgusting.

Second, you’re probably right about the gate receipts - that’s clearly one of the utterly short term minded main reasons why Milne voted with Timothy - but frankly why would you not support changes like this unless you are perfectly happy for the tedious two horse race to continue forever.

We would still comfortably outstrip most teams on commercial revenues from merchandise, hospitality etc so a competent well run club would still be comfortably one of the best in the land.

The uglies would lose far more than us - and be pulled back much closer to us as a result.

Fuuck me, we might even have the semblance of a competitive league - imagine that.

But no, let’s keep things as they are with 2 teams winning the league every year for 35 years and no chance of anyone else getting close.

It’s great, so why change it.

Milne is a spineless, snivelling ugly sister rimming cuunt & what he did that day means we’ll likely never get close to winning the league ever again - unless change happens.

Unforgivable and shameful what he did that day - and throughout his tenure.

As 57v would say, apart from that I have no strong feelings on the matter...

He's trolling. Nobody apart from afc1903mad think he did a good job.
