    Cardiff City Post Match Thoughts

Our season summed up in that one game. Chances galore to get the job done and in the end we've paid a heavy price for missing them.

    Thoughts?

It will be exciting for the neutral to watch on Quest tonight, not so good for Rotherham United fans.

Poor finishing all season, League One quality players not being quite good enough.

Plenty of effort though, they didn't give in.

For so long today we were staying up. Remarkable. We all knew not getting it to 2-0 would do us. No way were we holding a 1-0 lead for 82 minutes.

It was too much to ask them to last 90 mins plus. Can't knock em for trying but at least we put the st it's up the pigs and rams for most of the game.

Still don't understand what was going off, Mattock for Wiles.

    Wiles miss against Town
Tree "miss" against Luton via woodwork.

It came down to more than today but that lack of the ability to just be a bit more venomous has, rather poetically, been the story of today and the story of our season.

Great performance but everyone knew that the chances of 1 goal being sufficient were very slim.Missed chances galore again have cost but you have to feel so sorry for everyone concerned.....very cruel especially conceding so late on.Nothing more to say other than once pre season starts and the fixtures are announced all this will be forgotten.Thats what happens......everyone starts looking forward and we go again.

Too familiar a story. Can't fault the effort, great spirit shown by everyone.

Onwards and upwards, or should that be downwards and upwards.

IFS & BUTS, IF we had spent a bit more money would we have stayed up, BUT we didn’t. IF we had taken our chances we would have stayed up BUT we didn’t.IF your a Miller for 62+yrs you should be used to it BUT I’m gutted. One cheating football Club goes down the other one survives.

Gutted . Great effort but just fell short. Don’t understand not using subs when we’ve played so many games in such a short time.
