Bristol Rovers, Northampton Town, Swindon Town and Rochdale will all be in League Two next season. All of them will probably have bigger playing budgets than us, even if they cannot afford it and it damages them.

But maybe one or two of them will already be financially damaged.

Do we now make the assumption that these 4 teams and several others should finish above us, given that our budget this season was in the bottom 6 and will not improve next season? Three of this season's play-off teams should finish above us next season and also maybe Salford and Exeter.

So, at least 9 teams should finish above us next season. But we can dream about defying this characterisation of next season's final league table.
