Kerr, I never read most posters comments. At 69 and posting against the tide on MM since 2004 it's laughable to suggest I'm out to shock or impress "most posters". Who gives a f*ck. I simply post what I feel is true. If I'd wanted to be popular I could have joined the Whitby gang, cooked chickens with beer cans up their rrse, eulogised the Brave 500 and kissed Stewart's ample rrse.
If he'd have shelled out $29K for a Bit.coin on January 1st he could cash it in today and get $58K. With that in mind Brin, why don't you cough up $58K and buy one today because there's no doubt it'll be worth $116K by the end of the year. After all, you have to speculate to accumulate
Fair point Brin on the fact that not taking the risk in heavier investment of his own money costing more than if he'd taken that investment and succeeded. Gambled asks won if you like. How much did Stewart invest in January with the loans he did bring in and how much of his money would you count as "that bit extra"with which you'd be happy?
Raging, mon ami, as your vision of a socialist Utopia evaporates I would have thought you'd had better things to worry about than me. How is it that you and Roly always know what "the vast majority of fans on here" think? MM is not anyway representative of Millers fans. It comprises Brave 500 hardcore, ex-pats and condescending metropolitan champagne socialists. Btw, I have no idea what "trolling" is but since 2004 on MM I have consistently argued for fans' control of clubs and against tinpot dictators like Stewart.
I think that this board is pretty much a cross section of Millers supporters from many backgrounds and points of view. But away from this board, as a lifelong Miller brought up on home and away trips I know loads of miles fans that dont post in here. None of them are on the extremes that you take, nor on the other extreme that Warne is faultless.
The vast majority, in fact I don't know any that think otherwise, acknowledge that Stewart is doing the right thing with steady investment but ultimately making sure we live within our means in order to keep our club safe, they recognise the dark places we've been in for most of our lifetimes supporting our club and the main thing is ensuring our long term future whilst investing what he feels is the right amount for himself to keep us challenging.
And (still only anecdotally I know) they recognise that Warne has made mistakes, has much to learn, plays not great football but on balance is a good bet for working within our means to get the best out of the budget we have. I'm probably one of the most cynical on Warne, I feel he is limited and prone to make quite significant game errors that have cost us. But on balance I have to say that we would struggle to get someone that would do better on our budget and, most significantly, could get much, much worse that could very easily send us back to the dark ages.
Wendun. You really are getting worse. I have refrained from answering your, I am thinking of the word.... Drivel comes to mind. What the **** is up with you. You have the privilege to post on here and yet you abuse that freedom. Really, you do have a problem that needs addressing, and you do not belong on this message board. Rant over.

Again. It’s all relative. Say Tony put in an extra £3m. Well in that parallel universe let’s say every other chairman put in an extra £3m. Then we’re worse off and still relegated. And who do we spend it on? Does an extra £2,000 a week say necessarily entice a group of players who otherwise wouldn’t fancy a relegation battle?
