With the Shankland, Clark and McNulty trio continuing to cause tactical problems, I wouldn't mind losing one, or maybe even two of them. I don't really care which ones go as long at it leaves one of them playing where they want to play, where they play best, and hopefully being provided the ammo they require. I can't believe any of them have became poorer players overnight, it is all to do with service and the roles they are being asked to play. I know that seems a wee bit obvious , but I am really hoping MM has this sussed and signs the correct type of player for "his" team or lets the young guns loose in stages. Money will be an issue as we all know hence a few players will defo go.

Rumours resurfacing in several papers today about MM again. This time a return to Tranmere Rovers and this time that includes the Scott Burns guy from the Record who in the past has seemed to be the ‘in the know’ guy about all things United. Apparently all players have been told to report to the Club for a meeting this morning before heading off for the summer..........................

    Micky Mellon

Dundee United boss Micky Mellon is 'in the frame' for a return to Tranmere, according to a report.

The Daily Mail say United players have been told to report to the club this morning before beginning their summer break amid rumours over the manager's future.

Mellon quit Tranmere to move to Tannadice last summer.

I for one hope this is NOT true, I would like to see how he does with strengthening the team next year.

He said clearly in his after match interview on BBC that he is happy at United and doesn't understand why he keeps getting asked questions on his future.

Scott usually spot on so move on. Mind you yet another photo of the disgraced WATP rioters - how any right minded person thinks that behaviour (for 3rd time recently) is right and the club do nothing. fireworks again last night lol

IMO a certain local newspaper is not helping this but I could be wrong.

Personally I am very keen for Micky to stay and show what he can do next season.

Also want shanks to play and be starting alongside Appere and Chalmers.

Don’t want shanks to go in summer for poor money - we might do better if he stays to January even because he’s not shown his best yet. There would be pre contract but if he plays better we could get more for an immediate sale

Don't want to sell him at all to be honest.
