Covers a lot of ground all over the pitch, box to box player, makes himself available, and scores a goal here and there, as was proved tonight,when he covered a lot of ground to get on the end of Vydra’s by line cross across the box. His determination was the decisive factor. If you are looking for Player Of The Season, look no further.

I’d agree with that as well Mal tbh , he’s 7/10 most games , makes you wander if he had some legs at the side of him if he d progress a bit more.
I think he hangs back quite a bit tbh covering for others.
I’m glad he gambled tonight.

He's certainly exceeded all expectations, we picked him up cheap on the last day of the January window as a benchwarmer, he wasn't even a regular starter for Villa in the Championship at the time, and there was a distinct lack of enthusiasm from our fans about his signing as I recall.

You just never know do you, is his improvement just one of those things that happen football, or has Dyche worked the oracle on him ?
