And the governments and pubic bought the scaremongering. Meanwhile the same scientists are raking it in through worldwide sales of vaccines that they developed and licensed. Did someone not predict twelve months ago that we'd be here at this point? Forced vaccines and vaccine passports - but then I'm just a Covidiot so what do I know?

    I think you've misunderstood.

What's any hill at Pittodrie got to do with the discussion?

I'm not sure I have many friends on here. One in particular that RRoS named, who's been very quiet (but that could be because I have him 'on ignore') really doesn't like me even though I have no idea who he is and we've never met. Can't think why he dislikes me so much and I genuinely hope he's OK and that RRoS hasn't driven him to an asylum or worse.
    I'm sure he's tikety boo.

I like you, Mr sensible is coming round😉 and half loaf really used to like you.

Anyway that's at least 3, what's no to like about someone whose as downright cantankerous (spelling nae idea) as me padantic about facts, gloomy about DFC and almost hates dabs as much as me......it's all good.

And Bcram likes ahh ****....it's just his way.😁

'Half Loaf' hates my guts. Something about being trapped and denied freedom of expression. He's a **** anyway.

Mr. S knew all along that I was right and has grown to accept it

    I like BCram, nice guy.

Pretty sure you owe me a pint and so does Valleyboy.

    Cantankerous

Don't want to turn this conversation but I've always said academic qualifications mean nothing; common sense, practical skills, ability to communicate and a huge slice or two of luck are all you need to get on.

Those that don't have these things believe everything the government tells them or they read in a paper

Aye I suppose, communication a big thing, I do enjoy listening to clever folk, specialists in their subject even if I dinnae particular like the subject or dinnae like the person.

Peter Allis, Bill McLaren, Brough Scott...experts with a canny way about them.

Thon boy that's aye on about the universe an that....cox....nae idea what he's on about, blows my mind a bit, but like hearing it.

I like a bit of classical FM driving to the golf, not a fricking Scooby what they are talking about but I like it.

    David Attenborough another.

I cannae play chess to save my life, no spontanious enough for me, too much forward thinking but I love watching videos of folk explaining it.🙄

    Nae idea why.

I'm like you, can listen to a subject matter expert all day. Couldn't have a decent conversation with them but can listen.

What I can't stand though is a bullsh1tter. I've discovered that when you're in a meeting now over Teams you can 'accidentally' lose your internet connection - seems a better option to do that when someone's bullsh1tting than my old way of stopping them and telling them to away and take their puss for a sh1te.
