Wilson out for the rest of the season

    It's a hamstring injury again:

Hope this isn't going to be a familiar thing with him in the future

hmmm club probably just giving him a lay off to be ready for next seasons relegation scrap.

They know we are safe now, give the young lad Anderson a few games

    Ah, bugger.

Need another striker as a priority for next season. £20 million isn't a lot these days (what a ridiculous thing to even type!) so maybe we can do similar business this summer?

Fatso won't admit £40 million for Shinton was about £41 million too much and Bruce keeps bigging him up so we're stuck with the donkey. But, you'd think Gayle and Carroll will be gone so we'll need 2 more. We'll end up with an out-of-contract from one of the relegated clubs or a squad player from a Chimpo club.

I think we definitely need a new striker next season. Wilson has been injury prone for the last two seasons and our other strikers are sh1te

😆 A succinct and, sadly, very accurate description of our current strike force.

Im sure Anderson is out injured at the minute. It's a relief we have more quality strikers we can call on.

I suspect this is more to rest him up.

As in, it's not as bad as is first thought.

Totally agree we need a new striker or two for next season though.

I'd have Tammy Abraham here but not sure we would pay the £40 million that Chelsea are reportedly after. He probably wouldn't want to be involved in a relegation battle next season either

Anderson is an attacking midfielder rather than a striker.

Sadly, we all know that we're going to see Joe Shinton 'leading' the line on Friday.

    ...sigh
