What a fantastic result that is.

The Burchnall Bandwagon is still chugging along nicely and currently picking up momentum. Toot Toot

So who else is jumping on board? Don't be shy it's never too late to join.
Can we have a new train driver please , chooo chooo !
If I'm not mistaken(and I'm not) you were in the camp of retaining Hardly for the rest of the season and couldn't understand why the owners had made a change at the time they did.
yes you have supported IB, but you have also publicly stated since he has been the incumbent that you would have kept Hardly until the end of the season.

Coupla good results... great. Would be lovely if we can go up this season, but if not, things are definitely looking brighter than they were a few games ago.

Still, this mini-run could turn out to be a blip... hopefully not, but I'll reserve judgement on IB until a third of the way into next season, give or take. So far, so good.

I think the good vibes are more than just the results. I think its the way he has Improved our attacking game, its the way he bigs us up and not the opposition, the way he has got more out of the squad than Ardley could have dreamed of especially in an attacking context. The games we have achieved in have been against some good opposition not just the part timers that no one has ever heard off.
I think he IB has been very dignified around the Enzio and mo incident .
I'm sure there more reason to be cheerful than parts one two and three !

I'm only pointing out a fact , I really don't know what is wrong with that ,or do you disagree with what I have written?.
If Saddo (sorry Laddo in the spirit of a winning run) comes on calling me a liar I will only post his quotes about it , so even he would have to agree with me.
I really don't see why you have to defend him every time he gets criticised and the critism is truth not made up stuff. Are you his love child or something ?
if you are offended why don't you just ignore it and don't even bother to comment it really is that easy.

Great win. Wasn't expecting such a big one after they won at pool last Saturday.
Looks like the players have got off the go slow Ardley express &, can play a higher tempo game with JoB Reeves &Doyle in the same side

I love IB, at last a modern coach who plays quick tempo attacking football, this is the way football is going and we've got a good one as was obvious from the start if you looked into him, fullerbob comparisons were just insulting and stupid. He was taken on to take the piss not take us up. Under Ardley we always said imagine if we attacked instead of faffing about with it and now look. Once we have players in he wants as well I can't wait. Think we've got a good chance of going up now, no one will want to play us.

Pedro! You are indeed pointing out a fact, but as I think I said to you before, you are on a mission you can't win here.

Laddo will never admit what you want him to admit, in fact he will just wind you up again and you'll probably get banned again.

Other posters (me included if I'm honest) are sick of the bickering and will just see someone trying to carry on an old argument. This means that despite the fact you are right IMO, the best thing to do is let discretion be the better part of valour and let it go.

Please don't ignore this advice as you did last time, as light-hearted Pedro is a funny and knowledgeable poster, while intense Pedro is la whole lot less appealing.

Sorry if that apppears condescending, but I think it's true, and in everyone's interest!

As for tonight, another great win. I doubt anyone predicted 4-0...I’m very tempted in jumping on another bandwagon, albeit a more positive one this time!
Don't worry about it - it was a left field appointment at a strange time in the season, plus a lot of people (including local media) were trying to foment bad feelings about IB.

One thing I would challenge though is the statement that performances were getting worse and worse. I'd agree that the results were getting worse and worse, but even when we were going through the very dodgy spell, performances were actually pretty good in that we were creating way more chances than before.

Away to Solihull we should've put the game to bed in the first half with all the chances we created in the first half, but ended up losing. We were 2-0 up and playing well to top of the league Torquay, and somehow only drew. We created enough chances against Eastleigh away to win two games, but ended up losing.

There have been some shocking performances too (Hartlepool, Eastleigh at home, Altrincham) but generally speaking there's no comparison to what we saw before. The players seem to have an extra yard in their legs, the movement off the ball has improved massively, the intensity in and out of possession is unrecognisable from what we saw in the two years previous. I don't know if we'll get promoted this year or not, but I'm feeling positive about the future whatever happens.

I must admit I had noticed your surprisingly harsh comments aimed at IB but you are right it's very early days. I like to look at things on a more long term basis than a week to week rollercoaster approach.

As for Burchnall Bandwagon, please jump on we've got quite the mix on here including me, Carlton, Banjo.

You just need to make it official jump off the safety of the fence and onto the bandwagon
