a lot of good football first half, draw felt inevitable in at the end, few players out of steam\cramping at the end.

Disappointing in the end but loads of positives out there tonight IMO. Particularly first half I really enjoyed watching that - their keeper’s save from Smith second half that stopped it going 3-0 was a bit of a turning point unfortunately. Still onwards and upwards!

100% agree. Pity we didn't hold out there. Helluva unlucky.

Lots of positives from tonight. Chalmers, Appere, K Smith, Meekison, Shankland. Fuchs proving he's a far better player when the main man. Wide players attacking defenders which we've been crying out for so long. Unfortunately Liam Smith again getting shown up for the first goal. Our full backs are a real issue for me. Hopefully we get those positions sorted during the summer or at least bring in competition in both areas.

Connolly looked knackered, and maybe that had a bit to do with them winning the header into the box at the end, but it was the kind of soft set piece goal we were losing every week before Edwards returned to the team. Refreshing to see midfielders making forward passes first half, Fuchs was busy, and Shankland looked like he enjoyed having some attacking flair supporting him. Highlight was Meekison's goal. Glad for Butcher he got 20 mins to get his booking.

    😂😂😂😂😂

On all seriousness, he's a f*cking liability. Too often his game is hampered as he's usually on a yellow and has to back out of almost everything.

Without Harkes and Butcher in midfield, constantly going backwards and sideyways, we looked far more dangerous, especially first half. Getting experience and youth balance right will take time. Gutted at the result but positives to take out of the games I guess.

Plenty positives but you knew with the pen miss if they got one back then that was gonna happen

I agree with that. Nice to see the young lads playing freely and without pressure. Some good stuff from them, but the inexperience showed up occasionally.

Pawlett looked pretty poor TBH. Outshone by all the youngsters IMO.

Nice for Shanks to notch a goal.

I don't know what it is about Sporle, but I really like him. I think he is a player that also really fits in to the 'looks like can improve' category.

If he can nail down a 1st team Jersey next year that would be interesting. But he would probably need to reign in some of his unpredictability. Happy to have him in our squad though.
