Portsmouth's 24 year old centre back Jack Whatmough is poised to sign for
Wigan Athletic, although he has been offered a new contract by Portsmouth.
It's claimed Wigan have offered Whatmough a longer contract, & a better
financial package, than what was on the table at Portsmouth.
Whatmough has spoken to a number of clubs.
[ Does that mean Wigan won't be trying to sign Tilt from Rotherham ].
