Agree very much with the guru, we need quality left and right backs !No stocking fillers ! We’re moving from getting players from Lidl ? now we shopping at One Stop ?

Hahaha! Nice one, MillersTime! Didn't know TS had Russian connections. Looks like about 8p on the table! Needs to go back to his pals at one of Putin's lightbulb monopolies!

There are some on here who protect TS to the hilt along with Warne but, this season has got to have been one of our worst ever as in terms of getting key players in for desperately required positions.

Who's to blame? Stewart for cash flow, Warne for wanting only nice hooman beings, Scott for not being very good this time around?
    Or all three?

Hahaha our hopes of signing players hinges on Putin, standard stuff!

I've been doing my coin research and if one of the silver ones is a 'Flowing Hair Silver/Copper Dollar (1794/5)' we are laughing. Worth $10mil. Probably end up being a Bulgarian Lev haha

...is Scott a wasted wage??? What does he do in between the transfer windows???

Either he'll get pushed or just get fed up of identifying players which we won't attempt to sign and just resign...........

Probably a combination of all 3 but it is impossible to know from the outside. The recruitment this summer has been super poor, whoever is to blame.

We knew who we needed this off season, which positions we required. Surely we should of made a long list of players for each position that we felt would be worthwhile in pursuing. Then gone through the lists as and when they became unavailable for whatever reason.

It just seems like we have been super lax and lacklustre in our approach. PW said some players still feel sorry for themselves because of relegation, perhaps some staff do too and need a jolt.

We have a really good core and 'only' need to fill out some positions but my word are we making hard work of it.

I'm speculating though, for all we know they could be working tirelessly, and have been, throughout the summer. But the sense I have gotten is that we put it on the back-burner to get some rest / wait for PW decision to return etc. We have been left behind in trying to get players. Oh and we are tight.

MT, they may well have been working tirelessly, however, looking at all the other clubs in our league and how they've recruited, it doesn't seem to have been a big issue for them? We get worse as the years progress.

Just think, if only TS would have speculated last Jan, we might have had another £5.5 Million to play with and maybe have kept the likes of Wing. Ah well that one's gone and now we're back on another merry go round. Thing is, I'd rather have this situation than losing by the odd goal almost every game last season.

We can only go on what we see/hear
Maybe it’s down to all three like already been said or maybe we don’t have or like to throw money about like other clubs who could end up regretting it.

We will have two players in if not more before start of season

    No panic 😉

Scott’s still hear and doing a good job
