Deal agreed between Preston & Portsmouth for the transfer, but it seems the player
has decided to go to Charlton, after they put a bid in, which I did post today.

Preston North End striker Jayden Stockley a player sought by at least 4 clubs, with one
year left on his contract.
I posted before regarding interest in the player from the Millers, Portsmouth & Charlton Athletic,
but Sheffield Wednesday now being mentioned.
If there is a fee involved Sheffield Wednesday can not sign him, they can only have free transfer
& loan players with no fees.
Stockley was on loan last year at Charlton Athletic, who now have put a bid in for his services.

Portsmouth thought they had got Stockley, but a late twist, with Charlton Athletiic putting a bid in,
Portsmouth had agreed a fee of £450,000 for the player, it would seem Charlton have matched it,
& the player having been on loan at the club, has changed his mind &decided to favour Charlton
over Portsmouth.
