    No fans

Does it make a difference ? Is it the reason we can't buy a home win ? No idea, but out of the 20 PL teams, only 7 have won more games at home than they have away, it's not just us.

Agreed sinkov, there was an earlier thread where this was mentioned but I can't be Rsd finding it. Appalogies.

Fans provide the atmosphere and add to the intensity of the game.

At 12.30 today at Turf Moor, it will just be yet another sterile practice match.

    I expect us to lose.

It's very odd though, no fans in the stadium can make it seem like neutral ground, but the advantage now appears to be with the away team. Why should this be ?

Managers often speak of cacophonic home support being the "Twelfth man" sinkov.

It seems they may be right.

Look at us now today. Collapsing at home. I don't think with a full stadium this would have gone down well!!!!!

Good job there were no fans today to watch that shambles.
