It’s one of the easiest and most basic laws in football FFS!!

This is where the impotency of the fourth official and VAR are most noticeable in my opinion.

If there is ANY infringement in play during the 10-15 seconds before a goal VAR is supposed to spot these and put things right, a refereeing blunder is a direct infringement of the laws of the game and surely has to be called out.

As things stand they’re basically saying that it’s okay for the ref to make as many blunders as he wants but that players get pulled up for having their ponytail out of alignment 😤

The refs are far too protected by the game, people like Dean need weeding out and sacking.

I think there’s an argument now for the match assessor to have the ability to pull a ref during a game and replace him if he’s having a complete “mare”.

Refs should also be made to sit an exam every summer to retest their knowledge of the laws.

Dean referees in the style of a man suffering from total arrogance and self importance who has early onset dementia.

He needs to go this summer and not to a lower league either, why should Stourbridge FC suffer!
Dean should be used to add some diversity to the women’s game, he should be permanently assigned to women’s football.
