    Unlucky & Good Shift

Thought the lads put in a good shift today and on another day - would have won it!

Thought Livermore and Grant offered nothing when they come on. I don’t think Kanu is the answer but hey got to give him some credit today as he was decent.

After today it does tell me one thing - we need to keep Big Sam as honestly believe he would build a good team to come straight back up.

If only we could keep Okay......,. Livermore and Sawyers need to go and not impressed with Grant whatsoever.

Grant – There was a promising opportunity for him to break out. He was favourite to get the ball with fresh legs but he showed no desire what so ever. He should have ceased the chance busted a gut but no, I guess he was too afraid of actually getting a one on one.

I’m hoping that Big Sam may give some the lads once last chance to see how they would do without any real pressure on them with a view that he may be staying. In which case our two big signings of last year may have shown how poor value for money they were- yet again.

I don't think Kanu has ever been the answer, but If I was a manager his attitude and patience make him the ideal squad player. Just gets on with it and does as he is told. Has a lot to offer but we need a world class striker and that has always been the problem. The "top six" always get the best ones and if we do find a gem guess where they end up? This is why its all pants.
