We didn't get beat by Plymouth but we could only manage a draw against their 10 men at the Turf so they thought they had won it and the second leg was only a formality at Home Park. To be honest so did a lot of our supporters too but they hadn't reckoned on Super Johnny Francis and the rest was history (like Stockport).

I watched the game as my wife is a Swansea supporter.My honest view is that if either of them went up they would come straight back down.It's a case of do you want to go up for the money or would you prefer another battle at the top of the Championship.Unfortunately that's the choice we all face - Football or the money

Our style of footy is at times awful to watch and none of us want to see it long term. But it got us out of a rut early on in the season and it just continually brought us results because teams didn't know how to handle it. Swanny have beat us 3 times this season and they might make it a fourth win as well in the 2nd leg, but I don't think there is anything to choose between us.
Football wise, I think as a neutral I'd rather see Brentford go up, but they are always bottlers!.

It's obvious to everybody that we would come straight back down, and would then be one of these yo-yo teams trying to go back up again on the parachute money. I personally would like to see some consolidation for now, and a few more good years of challenging for the Play offs in this league, especially now that the fans will be coming back.
