The Results Of A Hard Lived Life.

I’ve long been of the opinion that if you look after yourself, keep fit, don’t overindulge etc, etc, that there’s more chance of you wearing fairly well.

I found these clips the other day of a band called The Adventures singing two songs I’ve always loved called “I’m drowning in a sea of love” and “Broken Land”

The lead singer Terry certainly had the pop star looks in 1988 in the first clip but Jesus, Mary and the Little Donkey.......he must’ve been flat sharing with Shane McGowan of The Pogues for the last 30 odd years judging by the second clip.

Still has a great voice though and both are great songs of the late 80’s in my opinion.

Broken Land is a brilliant song, reminds me of my formative years - we should crowdfund a dentist for him!

Can honestly say I don't remember the Adventurers. Thought the lead singer hadn't aged at all well based on those videos. Did a quick Google as I thought I may have been harsh. If what I very quickly glimpsed the lead singer isn't doing too bad for 65 with no hair dye.
