Td, I think the level of interest is already there, regardless of what happens at the Euros, it really makes no difference, if Doug was in charge he would be gone by now, but he isnt, the only way Jack goes anywhere is if Jack wants to, the club dont need or show any signs of wanting to sell and whilst they continue to show the same level of ambition as Jack must surely have, he will stay, as Westy says our own (better) version of Gerrard, lets hope we can help him win as many trophies!

I see in his England Interview, Jack made ref to Francesco Totti for being a one club man.....is there something it that?🤔

Nah, the Italian Journo asked Jack what qualities he admired and shared with Totti. And did Jack know that Totti loved London (yes, I know, the world thinks that everyone lives in London)? Jack was "er...er...er he was a great player, er...er... he was loyal to his boyhood club" Jack was just desperate to get out of the question.

It was quite embarrassing really, all around.

Mm i didnt see it like that, I will watch again. Jack reminds me of Gabby, all looking good till they open thier mouths. Now im a brummy through and through and when I hear my voice, I cringe, we all sound A bit thick!!😲

I've seen it again Dave, and you may well have a point.

Re the accent, I left Brum in 76 (aged 12), and only when I'm p1ssed or in anger, would anyone detect my Brummy accent.

And before Winnie says, "that must be all the time then". Sometimes I'm sober and happy.

I have the same problem with my accent. First impressions people think I'm stupid but after 10 minutes or so they realise in articulate funny and interesting. After 20 minutes it's back to square one though.

Regarding Josh King I get this one. Hes better than what we have on the bench and experienced. Obviously I would rather Tammy but would he be happy getting splinters. Unless we play 2 up top but who do we drop?

Tosh King, How come Everton want to offload him after one season for around 8 million? No, stay away, we have made our mark and set our standards, got to be Tammy, 30 mill should do it, followed up by 15 m Preaira from the bogrolls😁

Don't think we'll be in for Pereira now that we have Buendia, similar players.
I do think we should be going for Tammy though and am a bit surprised we are so relaxed about it knowing our management likes to get business done quickly.

Lots of lazy journo reports on Ashley Young returning to us at 35.....that will cheer Bongo up! Cannot see Smudger bringing in an old man like that unless its for a furure coaching role.

I really happy with Buendia as he is an improvement on EG/Trez and possibly Traore. It’s an odd one that though as all three of those scored a lot of important goals last season but their overall match contribution just wasn’t consistent enough and it was always one of those that got substituted.
Ward Prowse would be a great signing to fill the Barkley role and we are desperate for a dead ball specialist now that Conor has dropped down the pecking order. Free kicks must be worth a good few points every season. If we can get him I’d be happy with just those two with the possibility of cover for left back. Young might not be a bad shout for that in the short term with the idea that he might step into Terry’s shoes when he leaves to manage somewhere else which can’t be long now.
