    Prediction League Results

Here is the final table for the season:

    1) MichiganWolf - 22.4
    2) nortonwolf - 20.3
    3) abbobrom - 19.5
    3) GrizzledWolf - 19.5
    5) WOODLANDSWOLF - 19.2
    6) wolfiebill - 17.5
    7) plater - 12.5
    8) Woking88 - 12.3

Thanks to our participants. Consistent eight posters putting in our predictions week in and week out. This is my first time winning. It was also the lowest point totals we have ever seen. In every other year, 22.4 wouldn't have been good enough for even 3rd place! I think part of that is fewer matches than we've seen in most seasons - Championship you have 46 plus cups, when we've been in the Prem, we've had a deep Cup run and also Europa League. This year, we were knocked out of both fairly early. Only 42 total matches, whereas we've had 50+ most seasons. Throw in a disappointing season and fans are typically optimistic about results and I think that's why we had such low scores this year.

But here is a list of all of our Champions. I threw in their points so you could see what a typical Prediction League Champ scores:
    2020-21 - MichiganWolf - 22.4
    2019-20 - WOODLANDSWOLF - 43.8
    2018-19 - nortonwolf - 34.3
    2017-18 - WOODLANDSWOLF - 47.5
    2016-17 - wolves71 - 31.6
    2015-16 - Woking88 - 34.5
    2014-15 - wolfibill - 44.7
    2013-14 - Robus - 48.1
    2012-13 - cyrus11 - 37.2

Plater, abbo and Grizz - one of you needs to win next year!

I am toying with the idea of altering the point system as to increase opportunities for points. Might give a point for correct goal scorer and scrap the "goal differential". Either way, got some time to think about it.

Also think we could do a Euro Prediction League if there's interest. A couple weeks away.

Well done Mich, congratulations and thanks for running the show, Also a nod to Wokes for again providing the foundations that propped it all up!!

The trophy is in the mail, I addressed it to C/O Mich, Michigan, USA, that should do it.
