    Hope for Kelly?

QPR are on the lookout for another keeper and would be willing to let Liam Kelly leave for a small fee?

Certainly sounds positive and would seemingly put us at the top of the queue.

Aberdeen (rightly or wrongly) won't drop An Uncharacteristic Error By Joe Lewis, Hibs have deemed the ex-Arsenal guy their new number one and Hearts have Craig Gordon.

The biggest concern would be United are expected to punt Siegrist and they may decide Kelly is an upgrade on Mehmet - but he's not exactly useless or a kid so far from guaranteed.

Certainly we should be pushing the boat out as far as we can for Kelly, the difference a quality keeper makes cannot be understated.

There's small and there's English Championship small. £500K should be enough to land him.

£500K may well be enough to land him but I doubt if we should shell out that amount for anyone.

I'd be amazed if QPR are looking for anything more than the most efficient way to cover his pay-off tbh, serious haggling over sums which only just reach six figures is hardly worth their time.

Definitely worth paying a fee for Kelly. It all depends what we can afford/QPR want. We all saw what he can do as a keeper and he also added vocal organisation of the defence, something missing since Peter Hartley left. I hope we can do a deal.
