    Gibson for captaincy?

Will Wullie be chosen as captain this season, or will there be another seasoned "journeyman" signed up for the job.? I see no reason as to why Wullie shouldn't be considered as captain. Thoughts?

he might no want to have burden of captaincy ,look at robertson for scotland the burden of captaincy makes him too cautious ,nowhere near the player we see bombing forward for liverpool ,lets see what quality of squad queens assemble before a captaincy decision is made .

With Dobbie and Buchanan both departed to would reckon Gibson would be considered for the captaincy being the most senior player unless a younger player signs up who has natural leadership qualities.

albertz gibson ,joseph ,and mcgrory are the only first teamers signed atm ,still about 17 others at least to sign up yet for a first team squad ,im hoping queens sign up 7 or 8 of those with premier league experience or previous tastes of promotion to top leagues this is the nucleus type queens need at the club ,come start of june hopefully we will see progress on signing front as most players contracts expire may 31st .too early to name a captain before thay have had a preseason under them to allow the manager to select the most talkative and influental candidate during the preseason camp .

I am fearful that Wullie could be on his way back to another D&G club that he is thought very highly of but this time as manager, hopefully tho it has come a year or two early for him....

Stranraer looking for a new manager....

Yeah, Farrell back to Dumbarton after Duffy's departure. He was Aitken's assistant there before he moved to Stranraer as manager, when Aitken went to East Kilbride.
