Vintage, got myself bottle of Gosling 151, very impressed ,bit pricey but as you said , hairy worm does describe it 👍. Will be ordering more.
Got bottle of Black seal waiting, might crack it to sip while watching game on Saturday .

Was in Costcutter in Dyce other day, guy said he will be ordering up some Goslings as flies off shelves.Still has an amazing stock of whisky .

Neeps , how many melons for a 2 gallon brew of yer favourite brew ?

I’m having a night of it, in a civilised sort of way.

Started with a palinka, a xmas present ( this year) made from a local fragrant grape variety (Irsai Olivér)

I only drank it so that I could text and say that it was good.
I would have said that anyway but in fact it wasn’t at all bad.

So, a couple of those, then I thought “ I’ll try that home made Normandy Calvados”
I got that earlier on in the year, I was flying the next day so I only had a wee supp then.

It’s as good as I remember, so, back of the drinks cabinet, a bottle of home made apple palinka that is dated for the makers daughter’s wedding…bloody 2011, mind you she has three kids so what was I expecting.

It’s good but probably not as good as the Calvados.

While looking for the Apple palinka I find an unmarked bottle, wait a minute, very nice, no idea what variety.

Just think, not a penny paid in any form of tax.

A bit like living in Keith, without actually having to live in Keith.
