Football. To be expected but still hurts
I was hoping the Euros would show that we were making progress after 25 years of guff.
Unfortunately, this just confirms we're still a light weight third tier footballing country.
Need a miracle to not get humiliated against England on Friday night. Need to pack the defence and hit on the break.
Hopefully Dykes will not be playing. Dreadful footballer.
Football. To be expected but still hurts
Thoroughly deflating. Scotland have always been poor in front of goal as long as i’ve Followed football.
B*llocks.
You're the most negative poster I've ever come across on Mad over the years. I thought only Utd, but now clearly Scotland. Can almost predict when you'll appear on here. You only ever pipe up when you have something to moan about, usually a defeat. We are clearly better than we have been for a number of years. Have a better manager, have better players. Rightfully there is a feel good factor about the national team. We've earned it. Today wasn't our day. We could've had an open goal from two yards out and it would've been deflected wide somehow. We're a new team to this kind of competition. Today we had more possession. We had more chances. We just didn't take the chances. The Czechs did and one was a wonder goal only a select few in the world have ever scored.
A miracle not to get humiliated vs England? Dykes a dreadful footballer? You need to go for a lie down.
Aye.
We just got horsed at home from an average team and I'm just being negative.
Fair enough.
The truth is we can't afford to lose one of our best players from the lineup. We just don't have enough quality for that. Tierney at left CB gives you an extra man in midfield and as a result McTominay McGinn and Armstrong never really got going.
If Hendry plays the ball to the man in space on his right instead of trying to be Beckenbauer it stays 0-1 and we're still in the game.
Can only imagine Gallagher has said something out of place to Clarke.
Cant say im that disappointed about the score as their keeper was unbeatable today!
Plenty positives today. You can blame both Hendry and Marshall for their parts in the 2nd goal but both played well outwith that incident. O'Donnell does look a fish out of water at this level though.
Enough chances to win that game but not good enough and unlucky for some of them. Thought Andy in particular played very well. Ridiculous from Marshall, what was he thinking about being so far up the pitch? Had some good saves also though. O’Donnell needs replaced on that form.
Overall very disappointing but hey we are used to that iy.
Unfortunately Engurland looked pretty good the other night, first half anyway, but you never know.
‘Mon the Scots.
