Hate to say it but Pickford kept them in the game, shows just how bad the rest were.

If England had shown half of Scotland’s desire, they would’ve walked it. Only one person to blame for that and I have never seen England play to their full potential under him.
Proud of Scotland tonight and worried for England. We are still ‘alive’ with the last group game to come. Ground breaking territory 😆.

    He did.

    Stirling was ****e.
    Kane was ****e and annoyomous.
Foden - tried a lot but it never seemed to come off for him.

Saying Sterling was sh*te is being unfair to sh*te.
I agree too, Kane wasn’t mentioned apart from his offside diving header. I’ve just read on bbc that he had the fewest touches ever in a game for England (19).

It was a typical southgate teams display boring dull and horrible, everytime we got out wide they never put crosses in and just kept passing sideways and backwards and what was the point of rashford he hardly touched the ball and why take foden off when he was the one player who seemed interested. That foul on Sterling was a penalty though he stood on his foot and it was the same as the dutch penalty last night which was given. Sooner southgate gets sacked the better and England can finally play entertaining attacking football again.

I think Southgate was taking a leaf out of Brucies book, the styles looked very similar to me.

    Exactly.

no pace no impact no penetration.

Kane is the Captain apparently. Can you imagine Shearer ever turning in a performance like that.

He NEVER disappeared in a match.

Every match he played in he affected it. Long ball, he held it up.

Kane was deeper than two other forward, never in the box but no one put balls into the box BECAUSE he wasn't there?!?

He is even using Bruces catchphrase now

"We know it's a disappointment for our supporters, but we have to dust ourselves down and move on"

Be careful we might have him next in line if anything happens to WonderboyBrucie.

Just as an afterthought. Imagine what a runout Kevin Keegan would have had in that game.
