New home shirt now in red and white shop
Crikey, for once an enticing friendly match. Hopefully all restrictions are lifted by then and the club, and town, can make a few quid. There'll be a couple of thousand Geordies (if allowed) even for a friendly.

It's probably not going to be the first team though, not for a game against a League One team.

Yes probably but will there be somebody in the Newcastle squad that we are interested in loaning?

Two teams in the MLS league. The New York Red Bull’s and New York City FC. (The legendary New York Cosmos still exist but are a spent force in a lower league.) I’d go for New York City who actually play in New York (mainly at the NY Yankees stadium) and are jointly owned by the organizations that own Manchester City and the Yankees.

Nah, bring over the Cosmos. Don't tell anyone they're rubbish now, just that Pele played for them. Once we batter them the players will suddenly feel invincible. Well, up until Morecambe away first game of the season.
