Absolutely with you on this. The guy is a malign influence who's influence is growing throughout the club.

Ogren beginning to look like he was sold a dream - and ended up with a nightmare. I've lost any faith I had in him. TBF, I didn't have much to begin with. Was suspicious right from the off.

Exactly, TA has set up the structure, for whatever reason Ogren has literally bought into it, I'm not getting into whether folk feel this is a shyte thread or not as it pains me having to start one like this.
Nevertheless it needs discussed and imo this structure just stinks of short term gains and likely long term pain

I don't even think there will be short term gains TBH. The whole episode reeks of people at the top who are incapable (Ogren) or wilfully just in it for their own personal advancement (the Ashgars).

Honestly, it amazes me folk are so surprised by the way the club is being run. The owners have been very up front about their plans right from the off and it was always going to clash with the wishes of the fans once we were back in the premiership.

Its a good point. Thomas stated the need for a blend of youth and experience so i liked that. Maybe we will be a bit more savvy too (like livi, StJs and hamilton before them).

I think that's part of the issue, our fans don't want to be like any of those clubs (well, aside from winning a cup double that is).

Not moaning at the owners plans which were to make money and get us back in top 6 and challenging for trophies, it's TA I have a problem with and to me he goes about things in a sleekit underhand way.
The way Tam was appointed was definitely not up front or open .
I'm hoping TA has a list of quality ready to come in and help us into top 6, but I won't hold my breath

Playing devils advocate, would anyone really expect that with an appointment of any staff?

This thread is a bit of a minter title wise

Will we see a big praise thread for TA if we go and have a good season?

We get promoted, we stay up comfortably, we have a base to build from, despite obvious concerns about a new manager with not lots of experience from all fans, what is the over the top negativity about from some Utd fans?
