Norwich new sponsors haven’t gone down well

    BK8
Fans not happy with being a gambling sponsor but some are even more upset over the images that’s been used by the sponsors previously 😂

I’m surprised it’s been allowed tbh

Norwich City Cancels Shirt Sponsor Deal , After Fans Backlash.

Norwich City have pulled out of a shirt sponsorship deal with Asian
betting firm BK8, after a fans backlash.
Norwich City can announce the mutual termination of the clubs commercial
    partnership with BK8.
The club & BK8 have taken onboard feedback from its supporters & partners,
& after continued discussions we have agreed to immediately end the
    partnership.
While anticipating some negative responses to a partnership with a betting
company, the club understands the reaction to BK8, their affiliates & other
similar brands ways of marketing, the values of which do not align with
    those of the football club.
On this occasion the club said they got it wrong, for that, & any offence
    caused, the club apologises.
A further update on a replacement shirt sponsor, will follow in due course.

Had to laugh at a statement made by Norwich City's chief operating officer Ben Kensell.
Ben Kensell said, " As a self-financed club there is always a fine balance, between
generating the revenue levels required to help maintain that model, whilst working
within our visions & values ".

Self financed, more been bailed out with parachute payments with the yo-yo
    championship to premiership to championship.

I read about this a few days ago and it's not surprising they've terminated the agreement.
Within just a few minutes of the sponsorship deal being announced Canaries fans had easily unearthed a lot of questionable values regarding this company. So why weren't numerous people at the club able to do that so it never got this far.

The statement from the CEO suggests he's not in control and perhaps should consider another career

It’s an easy one this, they didn’t give a monkeys till the fans voiced their opinion,if the fans had not said anything they would have been happy to take the sponsors money.I wonder if P/W had a moan he certainly wouldn’t have approved.

According to the ‘extra’ service sites it looks as though they’d ‘go down well’ 😉
