    Euro Prediction League

Thought it might be fun to do a Euro Prediction League. The first major international tournament for European teams (Nations League might argue I guess) since the 2018 World Cup and I am excited. Here are the rules:

    Group Stage
    - Each participant will predict who they believe will finish first and second in each group
    - Participants will receive three points for predicting a correct team and place within the group (example: Group A Prediction - Italy, Wales; Actual Finishing position, Group A - Italy, Switzerland; Participant would receive 3 points for correctly predicting Italy to finish first in the group
    - Participants will receive one point for correctly picking a team to advance to the knockout stage (from the example above, if Italy had finished second in the group, the participant would have received one point for picking them to advance, but doesn't get the full three points due to them not winning the group)

    Knockout Stage
    - For each game, participants will predict the result and score for each game
    - If the participant correctly predicts the correct result and scoreline, they will receive three points
    - If the participant correctly predicts the correct result but not the scoreline, they will receive one point
    - We will not do first goalscorer for this competition

    Any Questions?

    Group A - Italy, Switzerland
    Group B - Belgium, Denmark
    Group C - Austria, Netherlands
    Group D - England, Croatia
    Group E - Spain, Poland
    Group F - France, Portugal

Group F looks a real tough one.

Lets hope a few more people sign on eh?

Am looking forward to adding a European trophy to my domestic awards.

Hope England and ghastly Gareth and his knee bending gits get hammered every game.

Some seem to have checked out for the summer. Can’t blame them. But personally, I love international tournaments. Once Copa America starts, I’ll be able to watch footy from 9am til 10pm, go to bed and do it all again the next day

Usual cautious first 45 of a major tournament, all Italy mainly but saying that Turkey haven't really looked in trouble. Scrap that Italy have just scored but it did take an own goal. Neither team look up to much to be honest.

I read that Turkey we’re a decent young side, they parked the bus last night. I was impressed with Italy, they played some lovely football through midfield, just lacked a bit of a cutting edge against that eight man defence!

Italy seem a universal selection to finish top of the group so I don’t think yesterday’s performance would have changed that, so I’ll allow it.
