I think he speaks very well.
Imagine if Yogi or Elvis had got the job, can you imagine how bad that would have sounded?
I dunno. Can't quite put my finger on it. It just annoys me. He does speak very well, almost too well.

Cannae win. Sound like Yogi, get slaughtered, sound like you have an IQ above 10, get slaughtered.

He has taken advice on what to say due to the difficulties. Its a bit scripted and i think thats wise from the club. he was fidgeting and nervous but keen to get his message across. I think he will relax a bit and get rid of some soundbites and show his passion. I was impressed on first viewing. But it was fully scripted - and frankly had to be. Maybe its that TA?

I liked that part - prob one bit that wasnt fully scripted - he was as honest as he could be. At least he seems fully of confidence in himself too. so to understand the fans worries was a good point made by him.

At least Yogi speaks from the heart. Tam sounds like he's speaking from a script he made last night.

Very much so, as I've just said. Hopefully he relaxes a bit and can be himself over time. That all sounded a bit fake & rehearsed if I'm being honest.

me too but given the fall out was exactly what he needed to be given advise for. If in a month its still like that then he is a puppet

If it's the same interview I saw was from the meet the media event, how could it be rehearsed if journos were firing (largely inane) questions at him? It was so refreshing to hear a young, modern, untainted, non-mafia new manager's outpourings. Can you imagine the p!sh from Pressley had, God forbid, he got the job. Or Hughes or McInnes (with that beard).

I think Tony told him to say that.
